While updates on the film's production have amounted to a deafening silence since 2018, when Yen confirmed that the film was starting production, Donnie Yen has indicated that Sleeping Dogs may just be his next project. The game was set in a realistic contemporary Hong Kong and focused on Wei Shen, an undercover Chinese-American cop attempting to take down the Sun On Yee Triad. One of the most underrated open-world action games from the last generation is Square-Enix and United Fronts Games' Sleeping Dogs. ![]()
